Hi Sam,

Nice to see you there, as I have not seen any section for member introduction, I will follow your template:

Didier Fourcot, working in France, translator and idea shaker, you know, the one who speaks too much at summits!

An idea for now: a section in the forum tor the members to post a more personal profile than what is in the forum system, perhaps a photo or two fro the new members or the ones whom we have not yet met personnally?

It is better to debate a question without settling it than to settle a question without debating it.

Hi Didier,

It's really nice to have you here!!!!

We will definitely look into this area you suggested. In future, we may add a blog feature so that people can create their own blog.

Sam

That's not a bad idea. Sam, maybe we could make a sticky in this forum? If people want to post their pictures and talk about themselves, that can be the place to do it.

Who are we to get in the way of you social butterflies? :)

Hello Sam,
This is Simon Chen, I am working as production manager in 1 Stop Translation China office, and I am a Chinese.

I got your website address from Jost Zetzsche's articles, and I found it's really fantastic.

Could this site post some CAT technical related things? I believe it will help PMs and linguists a lot.

 Hey, Simon!

Welcome to the community

What kind of technical, CAT-related material would you be interested? If you can think of anything specific, L10NWorks has recently added a suggestion page for just this sort of thing.
